GENERATIONS is more than a collaboration by these 2 musicians because they’ve had such distinguished , separate careers. In an archival sense, this recording preserves a big slice of New Brunswick’s music history over a couple of generations, bringing together 2 distinct fiddle styles. It also includes a dialogue of stories, some quite amusing.
This CD features Ivan Hicks along with Canadian fiddling legend, Ned Landry.

CD - Generations
I am honoured to be doing this recording project with one of Canada's legends of the fiddle. As a youngster I often heard Ned Landry tunes on the radio and learned to play most of his compositions. I always enjoyed his interpretation of tunes and the distinctive Landry style.
